Milk District Traffic Box

30 hours, 4 weekends, and 3 sunburns later, I am finished with my traffic box.

I was inspired by the history of Orlando’s Milk District and the story of T.G. Lee, who revolutionized Orlando’s dairy industry. Set in the 1920’s, I wanted to create a scene of different milks having a fun joy ride and enjoying each other’s company in a vintage Ford Model T - similar to what Mr. Lee would’ve owned while driving around making milk deliveries. The background is a vast landscape showcasing Florida’s beautiful fields with a few roaming dairy cows.
I also wanted to represent diversity and inclusiveness. Orlando is a beautiful city that welcomes all, and I wanted to show that through my characters. We have the classic milk man followed by Strawberry, Chocolate, and Almond milk. The Milk District is a wonderful little spot in Orlando, and I’m proud to live right around the corner.
