This is the very first painting that started my pursuit of becoming an independent artist.
Back in 2022, I was burnt-out and desperately needed an escape from my full-time job. I decided to take a week-long break to Vero Beach Florida to get back into painting. I hadn’t painted in over 10+ years.
This painting was inspired by my peaceful time at the beach. I had eaten a plate full of oysters (one of my favorite things) and kept the shells to reference later as my subject.
