👩🎨 This is the very first painting that started my pursuit of becoming an independent artist.
🧳 Back in 2022, I was burnt-out and desperately needed an escape from my full-time job. I decided to take a week-long break to Vero Beach, Florida, to get back into painting. I hadn’t painted in over 10+ years.
🦪 This painting was inspired by my peaceful time at the beach. I had eaten a plate full of oysters (one of my favorite things) and kept the shells to reference later as my subject.
🏝️ I painted this by the shores of the beach and would always hear the waves crashing and feel the salty breeze surrounding me and my easel.
